All three are built on the same reinforced Maxis frame, and feature the Bionic FlexFit Backrest, Dynamic Support System, and five fixed recline positions. The differences are:
The Airflow system uses a centrifugal fan built into the seat, with air channels layered through the cushion (breathable fabric → silk cotton padding → 3D support mesh → perforated foam → airflow channel → fan). It activates automatically when seated and has two speed settings with auto-memory. The fan operates at a low noise level designed for office environments.

Yes. The Maxis Electric and Maxis Airflow feature a built-in rechargeable battery — no need for a power outlet during normal use. The battery powers the lumbar motor and OmniStretch function (and the ventilation fan on Airflow).
The Maxis has a fixed 52cm seat depth, engineered specifically for taller and larger users. Rather than using infinite adjustment, we chose a fixed ergonomic configuration because continuous sliding can cause unintended shifts in the ergonomic optimization of the foam density zones.

**Excellent Comfort and Support – Highly Recommended**
### Fit and Comfort
At 6 feet tall and around 230 pounds, with broad shoulders, I’ve always struggled to find a chair that fits comfortably. This chair fits me well and provides excellent support, making it the most comfortable chair I’ve owned.
The deep cushioning, spacious seat, adjustable headrest, supportive back, and flexible armrests make it comfortable for long work or gaming sessions, even when reclining. Most importantly, it has significantly improved my lower-back comfort and helps me stay focused for longer periods.
### Assembly and Features
Assembly was quick and easy, taking about 15–20 minutes. The instructions were clear, and all the necessary tools were included.
I purchased the Maxis Airflow Premium Bundle, but I’m still awaiting delivery of the additional battery as of the date of this review. The chair also has a stylish dark-gray finish that suits my office setup.
### Setup
I upgraded the wheels with LiberNovo 2.95”-inch Dual Rubber Chair Wheels, which slightly increased the chair’s overall height. Combined with the footrest, they create a very comfortable and practical setup.
### Drawbacks
The chair’s reinforced aluminum-alloy frame makes it heavy, and it takes up more space than a regular chair. Keep this in mind if you have a smaller office.
### Overall Recommendation
Overall, I highly recommend this chair, especially for taller or broader users who have difficulty finding a comfortable fit. I’ve only used it for one day, so I’ll post another review after a couple of months of use.
